Stripe fees: 2.9% + 30¢ per card transaction (US), plus Connect platform fees on every transfer.

Vercel runs the app + API routes. Audio gets processed, watermarked previews generated, license PDFs rendered.
Storage & bandwidth
Supabase Storage holds your full files and previews. Egress on every preview play and every download.
Trust & support
License disputes, copyright claims, refunds, fraud monitoring, DMCA processing.
Engineering & product
One person currently. Builds search, dashboards, analytics, payouts dashboards, the next features.
Reserve & margin
Tax, legal, chargebacks, and a margin to keep the lights on. If we ever profit beyond that, we'll cut the fee.
These percentages are approximate and adjust with volume. The 80/20 split itself is locked in for every sale, no hidden withdrawal fees, no monthly subscription. Stripe charges its processing fee directly out of each payment — it doesn't come out of the producer's 80%.
